Privacy Policy

Showi is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Photos you import. Showi processes your photos entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers. All AI scoring, color grading, and video rendering happens locally on your iPhone.

Purchase information. If you subscribe to Showi Pro, Apple handles the transaction. We receive a confirmation that you have an active subscription but never see your payment details.

No personal data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location. We do not create user accounts.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect or store your photos
We do not track your location
We do not use advertising identifiers
We do not sell any data to third parties
We do not use third-party analytics that track you across apps

On-Device Processing

All photo analysis, scoring, color grading, cropping, and video rendering happens on your device using Apple's frameworks (Core Image, Vision, AVFoundation). No photo data leaves your iPhone.

Optional Online Features

Showi may optionally connect to the internet for:

Music suggestions: We query Apple's iTunes Search API to suggest songs for your Instagram stories. This sends a genre keyword — never your photos or personal data.
Caption refinement: If enabled, caption text (not photos) may be sent to our server for AI-enhanced suggestions. This feature is off by default.

Data Storage

Processed photos and videos are stored temporarily in your app's sandbox. They are automatically deleted after 24 hours or when you start a new import. Exported files are saved to your Photos library, which is managed by iOS.

Children's Privacy

Showi does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account or collect personal information.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. If you uninstall Showi, all app data is removed from your device.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
